Solium is pleased to offer professional development credits to Synergy attendees. Credits offered vary by session. Please consult the conference agenda to review the number and type of credits provided for each session.
Who needs credit?
Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) - CPAs must meet requirements defined by their licensing state board of accountancy to maintain the license. Many state licensing boards require that CPAs maintain and improve their skills through continuing professional education (CPE) courses. Solium is a registered provider of CPE for the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA). Information regarding CPE can be found on the CEP Institute website.
Certified Equity Professionals (CEPs) – Individuals who have earned the CEP designation are required to complete thirty hours of continuing education (CE) every two years to maintain the designation. Many sessions at Synergy have been approved for CE by the CEP Institute which governs the CEP designation. Information on the CEP designation can be found on the NASBA website.
Solium is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE Credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website: www.NASBARegistry.org.
